The difference between 304/30408/304L/30403/304H/30409 stainless steel sheet
304 is the most common German general-purpose stainless steel material on the market. Since 304 contains no less than 8 nickel, its corrosion resistance is good, and it is the most widely used stainless steel. With the continuous development and progress of society, the 304 series of materials continue to increase, gradually appearing 30408, 304L, 30403, 304H, 30409 and other stainless steel plates, so how to distinguish these materials and make the right choice when purchasing.
The 304 stainless steel plate and stainless steel coil produced by TISCO fully comply with the national standard and the American standard ASTM/A240M. 30408 is another name of 304, which is also 06Cr19Ni10. The only difference is whether the manufacturer has obtained GB-T 24511-2017 "Stainless steel and heat-resistant steel plates and strips for pressure equipment". TISCO has obtained this certification, so The 304 board produced by TISCO according to this standard can be called the 30408 special board for pressure vessels.
30403 is 304 low carbon material, the material is 022Cr19Ni10, the carbon content is 0.03%, another name is 304L
30409 is 304 high carbon material, the material is 07Cr19Ni10, the carbon content is 0.04-0.1%, another name is 304L.
In terms of chemical composition, 304, 30408, 30403, 304L, 30409, and 304H all belong to the 304 series stainless steel plate, but the production standards are different. Please refer to the figure below for detailed data.

Production equipment
At present, we can provide cutting, slitting, laser cutting sheets, laser cutting tubes and profiles, sawing cutting rods and tubes, bending, welding, stamping, CNC machining, the smallest laser drilling diameter can be 0.15mm in diameter, The largest machinable size is 1020mm diameter, the maximum error of the laser is only 0.05mm, the maximum tolerance of the sawing machine is less than 0.15mm, and the length error is 0.05-0.1mm.
