Export volume: according to the customs data, from January to October 2024, China's stainless steel export volume accumulated about 4.139 million tons, an increase of 814,000 tons, an increase of 24.5%. Although the export decreased in October compared with the same period of the previous year, overall, the export volume of stainless steel is still maintained at a high level.

Main export regions: China's stainless steel is mainly exported to Vietnam, Russia and India. Among them, from January to October 2024, the export volume of mainland China exports ranked the top ten regions accounted for about 60.23%.

Stainless steel export tax rebate policy

Policy adjustment: according to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, since December 1, 2024, the export tax rebate rate of stainless steel products such as stainless steel cabinets was adjusted to 0%. This means that from that date onwards, the export of stainless steel products will no longer enjoy the tax rebate policy.
