TISCO's super ultra-pure ferrite TFC22-X was delivered in batch to the leading domestic fuel cell enterprises, realizing the first domestic delivery of key strategic materials for the new energy field, solving the "neckline" of key strategic materials for the fuel cell industry, and assisting in the realization of the national "dual-carbon" goal.
Fuel cell is one of the most rapidly developing new energy technologies in recent years, which can directly convert the chemical energy of fuel into electric energy under medium and high temperature with high efficiency, low carbon and environmental protection, and its power generation efficiency can reach more than 60%, and co-generation efficiency can reach more than 85%. It also has the advantages of flexible fuel, green and low-carbon, and does not use precious metals, and can use a variety of fuels such as natural gas, hydrogen, biomass gas, methanol, etc., and its high efficiency and low emission characteristics make it an ideal choice for clean energy power generation.
Vigorously developing fuel cell technology that can use multiple fuels will boost China's supply-side energy reform, promote the energy technology revolution, and lay a technological foundation for realizing the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. However, due to the late start of China's fuel cell industry, it is still in the initial exploration stage, and there are still many urgent problems to be solved in the development of industrialization, among which the fuel cell stack connector material is the most critical strategic material. In order to solve the key strategic materials "neck" problem, TISCO production, marketing and research teams work together to break through the key technological bottleneck of precise control of the content of special elements, and solve the metallurgical problems of high special stainless steel, without any reference technology and experience; develop a series of deformation system, heating and cooling technology for toughness control, and realize high special high chromium ferrite. Realize the stable production of high-special high-chromium ferritic stainless steel; solve the technical problems of heat treatment and pickling of the series products to ensure stable control of product performance and surface quality, and realize the quality control and stable production of high-special high-chromium ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel series products in large-scale manufacturing. The successful research and development of TFC22-X super ferritic stainless steel for fuel cell connectors has filled the gaps in China and injected a strong impetus for the development of China's strategic emerging industries.
