I. Preliminary Anti-Dumping Ruling

Time: On January 16, 2025, the KTC issued Announcement No. 2025-1 (Case No. 23-2024-7)

Product: Hot rolled stainless steel plates (Stainless Steel Plate), not less than 4.75 millimeters in thickness and not less than 600 millimeters in width, originating in China.

Decision: Preliminary finding that the Chinese manufacturers/exporters Schuang International Development Ltd., STX Japan Corporation, Best Win International Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Daekyung Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Daekyung Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. as well as other Chinese suppliers have dumping margins of 21.62 percent.

Recommended Measures: It is recommended that the Ministry of Planning and Finance of the Republic of Korea impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of 21.62% on the products in question. The Korean tariff numbers of the products involved are 7219.21.1010, 7219.21.1090, 7219.21.9000, 7219.22.1010, 7219.22.1090 and 7219.22.9000.
